Nvidia’s AI Impact: Revenue Skyrockets by 206%

Javier Milei’s election victory, a critic of central banking, has sparked optimism among cryptocurrency investors in the South American nation.

It remains uncertain if the new administration, which holds views similar to Bitcoin’s (BTC) decentralized ethos, will embrace cryptocurrencies.

Although Milei did not make specific commitments regarding Bitcoin’s legal status during his campaign, he has previously lauded BTC, describing it as “a return to the private sector, the original creator of money.”

Nvidia's AI Impact: Revenue Skyrockets by 206%

In the quarter ending in October 2026, Nvidia saw a remarkable 29 percent increase in revenue year-over-year.

The company’s revenues exceeded expectations, totaling $18.12 billion for the period. Its net income was notably high at $9.24 billion, representing a staggering 1,256 percent increase from the same period the previous year.

Nvidia’s data center segment, which includes its artificial intelligence chips, experienced a revenue surge of 279 percent, reaching $14.51 billion.

The gaming segment also saw significant growth, with revenue increasing by 81 percent to $2.86 billion. Looking ahead, Nvidia projects its revenue for the fourth fiscal quarter to be around $231 billion, indicating a 20 percent increase.

The face of Nvidia has changed

Nvidia's AI Impact: Revenue Skyrockets by 206%

Last quarter, Nvidia unveiled the GH100 GPU, a model with more memory than the current H200 chips and an additional Arm processor. While the pricing for the GH200 platform remains undisclosed, the H100s are currently available at around $40,000 each.

Approximately two years ago, the primary source of Nvidia’s revenue was the sale of GPUs for PC gaming. However, the company’s focus has since shifted, with the majority of its revenues now derived from data center solutions.

The 2022 launch of the ChatGPT chatbot by OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, spurred many companies to explore adding similar generative AI capabilities to their software. This shift has led to an increased demand for Nvidia’s GPUs.
